How do we choose a member of the month at CFNP? Sometimes we choose someone who we think has shown a tremendous amount of growth in their nutrition or fitness, sometimes we choose someone who has been a staple in the community and sometimes we choose someone who attends a particular class and maybe doesn't get to see members in different class times. For June we chose Brian Taylor, a member who has been with us for a few months but is one of the proud 6am regulars who our evening members might not see as frequently. In the time that he has been with us, Brian has shown some awesome progress mastering his first rope climb, completing workouts RX and keeping a smile on his face the whole time. Though he is a man of few words we've found that his responses to our questions were exactly the words that we all needed. How long have you been Crossfitting?
About 8 months.
What made you try CrossFit?
My girlfriend at the time (now fiancé) was doing CrossFit and I decided to go to a class with her. (We see why you wifed her up, she sounds brilliant)
What has been your biggest accomplishment while at CFNP?
Setting the fastest time for the workout (RX) of the day.
What’s the best thing(s) about CFNP?
Being taught the correct way to lift and workout and the people.

Do you have any advice for someone on the fence about trying CrossFit or joining CFNP?

How has CrossFit changed your life?
Everything else in life is easy compared to waking up at 5:30am to get to a 6am CrossFit class!
What has been your favorite workout and why?
Rope climbs! (I really enjoy all the benchmark wods as well)

Afters Ice Cream
